Way to pick a highly modified crop to provide proof for design by god.

A bananna fits pretty nicely in an ass too, I seen it on the interwebs.

Yeah wtf, I bet even Christians hate people like this. Just because of its grooves it was made for humans? How bout a pineapple? Their fucking delish but they hurt my hands to the touch. How about potatoes? Did god hide them in the dirt as some cruel joke? I would love to ask that guy these questions...

lol... this in no way proves god exists... what, because a banana is shaped to fit in our hands? that means god is proven to exist?

bananas are like the only fruit that "fits our hand" -- so what about the other fruit? round? pear shaped?

are watermelons proof that giants exist? because it fits in a giants hand?

yup that must be it

funny video.

Real Christians don't hate anyone. There are alot of people out there who call themselves Christians, but they are bigoted, or support the death penalty, etc. Those things are unChristian. Jesus didn't care about race, never condemned homosexuality, but did condemn all violence. If anyone wants to know what Christianity is truly about, all they have to do is read the gospels (the first 4 books of the New Testament).*** I am a Christian, and I know that God exists. But someone shared this with me, and I know it's true. The way you live your life speaks to people a helluvalot more than witnessing to them about God. Strangers who come up to folks to share the 'good news' have no credibility. So nowadays, I just try to let my life speak for itself to the people around me. It's odd, but it works. I have had quite a few folks come to me over the years and ask me how it is that I manage to stay calm in terrible situations, content during truly shitty periods, etc. (And no, I haven't even ever gotten high, until a couple of weeks ago.)*** One of the smaller proofs of the Lord's existence in my eyes is cannabis hemp. Look at all that can potentially be done with it. And look at all the medical conditions (cancer, dementia, psychological disorders, MS, etc.) that can be helped by using it. This plant is a miracle, there is no other word for it. And I don't think that miracles come from nothingness.*** Also, not all Christians believe in the creation story in Genesis. There is no reason that evolution couldn't have been a process set into motion by the Lord himself.*** -FIN-
I used to believe in the truth of Christianity, but I have been enlightened... I have a question... What creation story do you believe? There are two in the bible.

Damn, I can't figure out how to get my text separated into paragraphs. Maybe I have to use html? Anyways, if you are referring to the two stories in Genesis, I don't believe in either one. I do not believe that everything in the bible is true, but I do believe that the truth can be found in it. In the gospels lies all the truth I personally need to know on this subject, though I remain open to more. I strayed from Christianity once when I was younger, believing that I had been enlightened as well. Time will tell what is right and what is wrong, that much is certain. It is important to keep an open mind. Mine is yet open, don't think it's not. In the meantime, all I can say to you is this: God is love. If you reject that, there really is nothing more to be said. Peace.

True, I guess no one will know who is right or wrong. I just imagine the problems that it has caused for our world. To me religion is something that is holding our society back... it is a symbol of oppression. I'm not trying to knock on any Christians by any means, I'm just talking about the way I see it

Hi chibbs. :)

That's the thing...I can call myself a Christian all I want to. I can even start a church, wear a white collar and cassock, and pass out communion wafers. But if I start wars in the name of God, if I force people to swear allegiance to my church at the end of a sword, if I molest children, etc., I am by no means a Christian.

A wonderful author was Ayn Rand. Yes, she was an atheist, but she was also right on about a few things, IMO. One is this: there are no contradictions. Well, violence, sexual abuse, torture, etc. are all against the teachings of Jesus. Therefore, anyone who engages in such conduct is not a Christian.

Christianity hasn't caused the world any problems at all. Evil people masquerading as Christians have. And yes, unfortunately there have been far too many of them.

As far as oppression goes, speaking for myself alone, my belief in Jesus does not oppress me. It frees me, as trite as that sounds. :)
