I have 2 se220,im utilizing 1 for veg only really as I dont have a seperate veg type area. I angle my lights in such a way that I can split up my footprint pretty well, this lets me sprout my next run about 2 weeks of flower. The veg side is using 36 5w cree leds and the flower side is utilizing the same in addition to 4 cree 2530.Its working for me but im always exploring options.im currently looking at options from tasty led and apache.

We have preflowers, she should be in full flowering within the week.Bumped up feed to .8ec. Water is less than .1ec.

Using dynagro foilage pro .7ec and bioag fulpower at 3ml a liter, protekt at .1ec

She is currently happy with.5liter a day but I expect that to jump up within the next week or so.

32 days.Started flower feed.Using a 50/50 split dynagro FP/drynagro bloom at .9 EC.Dynagro protekt at .1 EC and BioAg Fulpower fulvic acid at 3ml/liter.

I have to say im really enjoying this perlite grow.No weird CEC problems to worry about, like with coco.Growth rate really seems comparable.

So im going to be experimenting with the basic lucas formula through flower.

Gh micro,gh bloom at a 1:2 ratio, after hearing good things. We'll see how she likes it.

Why the 50/50 mix of FP/Bloom? Won't that cause premature yellowing?

Reznhnd just in case I haven't said it, thanks for sharing your grow with everyone. I like the fact that you seem to be the one of the few growers using an Amare that doesn't have an agenda, so I'm really enjoying this thread, especially now you've moved on to perlite and I'm probably going hempy for my next few plants and one of the reasons is looking at some of those pix of yours and I say to myself, "How can that not taste amazing?".

What do you think about MaxiBloom for an entire grow? Someone on here mentioned doing that and I was thinking about doing an organic type grow with compost/guano teas and BMO but now that I think about I wouldn't mind a more specific and simple routine.

Dude you would rock a pair of Han's panels with that style of grow, (I think the Amare is a better unit btw), your style is perfect for Hans' panels. I think he has some new panels coming out sooner or later. you should send him some pix of this grow and score a few demo panels out of him :).

Best of Luck and Be Safe Sir!

@FranJan ,thank you for the comments:) im glad you are getting some enjoyment from my humble little grow.As far as for an agenda..heh im just a dude trying to grow some medicine in his closet:) I like the amare I think it performs better than floros for me and I love how my plants look under them. I never had good luck with the standard red/blue lights floating around, but maybe I just didnt get good ones.Ill admit I havent really researched much about the Hans panels, out of curiosity, why do you think they would be a good match for me?

Ive also considered a maxibloom grow,I think I read 7grams of the powder/gal is pretty much all you need:)Ill probably try that at some point. So far im really digging this perlite hempy style, cant wait to see how the finished product turns out. Please stop in anytime:):peace:

Yep the hans panels are interesting, time for more research.I like the fact you can lower them down close to the plants if you like.:)

This is one of the only issues I have with the amare, with the lenses it really kind of makes life difficult if you dont have alot of verticle room to work with.I dont like how my plants react to the intensity at less than 24inches.I love my indica cultivars, but man they can be very temperamental when it comes to that.

Hans panels work best when scrogging or on highly trained plants and you seem to have the training part down cold :hump:. They're pretty damn efficient and Hans has actually designed them for growing weed first so they do grow quality bud. I own Hans panels and can attest to their quality, though they are a bit long in the tooth tech wise, and being in the states can make warranty issues tricky, I would think if Hans saw your grow style, (or I guess I should say the style you are showing in your thread here), he may be very interested to have someone in North America, (I'm assuming large here :)), demoing his panel.

Yeah I think I'm better off with a Maxi-Bloom run or two once I switch to Hempy then I'll screw around with a more organic regiment.

Well I finally bit the bullet today and settled on the apache at200 for this space.Good or bad decision, time will tell I spose.Im not unhappy with my amare, its just not really my style. With 50 degree lenses I can get to within a foot of the canopy with the at200.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time flowering my GG's under my Amare & Hydroponics Hut lights due to the 18" min. Are those glass lenses 50 degree? Haven't even put mine on yet, just hung them yesterday. Surprised in the build difference in my two lights. The Amares SE-450 is a beast. Makes my HH X5-500 look like a toy. Heavy though. Had to post up a 2"x3" on the ceiling to hang them. Felt like they would rip the strapping & Sheetrock down. In my HPS room I got them babies only inches from the 1000watters due to the fact that I forgot to raise them prior to the wall to wall trellis. Fortunately they're vented well with plenty of air movement in the room so they're good but I don't quite know what to do with the ones about to go into flower, to tall n out of control. That's why I'm thinking of trying out the BML/Fluence SpyderX Plus. But I just bought 3 different lights & I can grow close to the light with the SunCloak. Hoping for the best. Come by my thread, it's called O.C. GG#4's in the SunCloak 4416.
You growing that girl in straight perlite? Pretty cool. I like the way you're plants look. Nice lil bushes. Pretty plant. Good Luck with your new Apache. I hear they're really good lights.

Cool man ill come check out your shenanigans:) as far as the glass lense degree on the amare im not sure, but I do know from the reaction of my plants they tend to cause hot spots and light stress if you push them too low.I see it under 22in.
