Reserva Privada's Kandy Kush?

I saw this one on attitude and on the dna website, I think it sounds like a great strain.
But when I looked around on here I didn't see a lot of people growing it.

Most people said they didn't bother because of how long it takes or because they got the seed as a freebie..
Plus online, strain reviews and good harvested bud pictures are pretty scarce.
But then the people who did decide to grow it seem to have had great results.

I just thought an og kush x trainwreck cross would capture more attention.
It just seems like a pretty underrated strain if you ask me. (especially coming from the breeders of dna)

If you've smoked or grew some kandy kush let me know your opinions.
Definitely looks like a strain that I wouldn't mind taking the time to grow.

Look up Smellytreez Kandy Kush grow on here... he got a fat harvest of really good bud..

Yeah I went through the first 200 pages of his kandy kush thread, got over 5oz off that one plant.
I really want to see a bigger 4-6 plant grow of the kk though.

i have a KK 3.5 weeks in flower in a waterfarm. Took 9 clones then flowered her around 12" or so. She is now 3.5ft tall and touching all four sides of my 3x3 tent! Got to figure out something cause i want to put my clones in flowering too in soil. Will be cool to see the difference in flavor and smell between the hydro and soil.

9 of 9 clones rooted as well.

Sounds like she's gonna be a beast when she's finished.

I'll probably have to give this one a try, one of the best looking plants in my opinion.

I've smoked Cotton Candy Kush must be similar, it was amazing and some of the buds had a few purple streaks. Loved it.

I had a free fem one hermi like crazy early on. More like true intersex

Yeah I heard of them herming.
Most of them that do herm only start getting sacks at the last two weeks.
And by then you can just pluck and throw away without problems.

But the people who's plants do well get real good results, 4+ oz per plant indoors. Even the beginner growers.

I got 1 Kandy Kush growing right now under a 600 watt hps I got free from the tude awhile ago. Its alittle over 3 feet tall in a 3 gallon bucket and only 5 weeks of flower and the thing is a monster. The side branching has almost as fat of nugs as the head nug.

got some kk growing now. stretchs like crazy. after 4 weeks skunky smell is kicking in. according to breeder after 5 weeks resin really builds up. Most of the post I have read say she is a winner

Did you top or lst? I would probably just top with this one. Post some pics if you have any.

Yeah she's big, how long did you veg for?

I got 2.2 oz off one Kandy Kush I got as a freebie seed. So it is a good producer. Kind of a different high, but still good. I topped mine so I got four main colas. I think the plant ended up being about 30" tall.

what do you mean by a different high?

and only 30"? how soon did you top and how long after you topped did you start flowering?

I've got 3 KK in veg under some T5s. Really slow to get started but they're picking up a bit now.

how many bulbs in your fixture?

I grew out one freebie about a year ago and ran it a few times. Very large yields, super stretchy, but I got a poor quality pheno that was not super dank. Pretty floral in taste (at least this pheno) and nice for joints. I'm sure if you purchased a full pack you would find some fire.

I veg'd her for about 3 weeks i think under T5, cloned 9 times, vegged another week then flowered. She's still stretching a bit and im gonna have to bend it over cause it was about 3 inches from the light in the tent. She has to be near 4ft tall now.

Also got an indica dominant pheno? of dna sour cream in veg. Been holding off on this one cause its suposed to go 11 weeks but it has super fat leaves, short, and super branchy.

I've grown this out several times. Mine is pretty stretchy and a medium yielder at best, but is ready at 8 weeks no problem. The smell/flavor leans toward pine. Fairly strong potency. All in all I am happy.

No camera.
I haven't topped them yet, so it's just a main cola on each. Gonna top them, use the tops for clones and then flower them off to find the best pheno.
I'm using the 2 foot 4 tube T5 right now. I have the 4 foot 8 tube but not enough space to use it.
