Requesting advice (pics included).

Beginning to notice troublesome signs. Not seeing that lush waxy healthy green I'd like. Gage Green Grape Puff Veging for a month, 340 true watts LED @ 18". Botanicare pro-grow formula/ botanicare liquid karma. Don't know if lights too close or if overfertilized or underfertilized. Appreciate opinions from anyone who cares to offer some. Thanks.

Maybe try adding a little cal-mag if using it already add a little more.

How often do you feed? Looks like it could be low on Nitrogen

I was thinking the same.
Also, remember not all plants will grow with the same vigor.
Some of them flat "jump" up, and others seem content to loaf along.

Hello folks, seems we are all on the same path. I was thinking either a cal/mag def or lack of nitrogen. But was also concerned about possible light burn/bleaching or even lock-out from overfeeding(which I really don't think I overfed). They are growing rapidly at this time so I am leaning toward overall lack of minerals. Growing in pro-mix BX and keeping temps and humidity where they should be. The pro-mix is fortified with calcium and magnesium I believe. I don't need to water very often yet as the temps have been on the low side and plants are only month or so old and not really using alot of water. Should be ready for a drink in a couple days and don't know wether to use plain water of to feed. That is my dilema at this point. I may give one food and the other plain water and see if I notice a difference between them.

I agree, nitrogen and cal/mg a little low but your plant has great form and looks good. Don't go crazy adding nutes, use 1/4th of what they recommend to start whatever nutes you use. Easier to increase that than correct an overdose. Oh, try to relax also, your plant can sense your stress and it makes her wanna throw nanners at you, so stop it.

Yes, relax is a good idea, thanks. I just gave one a nice drink of fish emulsion and the other a nice drink of plain water. Now to see if anything varies in a day or so.

Condition worsening. Only seeing these symptoms on the Grape puff strain. Leaf margins now becoming necrotic. New growth seems healthy.

Discoloration of older leaves usually indicates a deficiency of one of the mobile nutrients Page 6 of this publication has a pretty good "tree" for figuring out deficiencies. Problem is, once you identify a deficiency you need to still figure out WHY it is deficient: underfed, pH /lockout, or an excess of another nutrient interfering with whatever you might be lacking.

I know, it is kind of confusing. Lots of problems looking similar adds to the confusion.
