"i would like a strain thats compact with short flowering time"

Take a look at Peak's line, I've just grown Skunkberry, Northernberry and Skunk - all three were incredibly compact and still produced 2-3 oz per plant. I double topped each, flowered at 16" and ended up with 5 x 22"-26" plants.

Great breeders, trusted company. 4 1/2 stars on Greenman's page. $40 USD including shipping for 10 seeds of any strain or a 20 seed mix pack. Nice smoke.

.

Endless Sky is relatively compact (50%-100% stretch), very potent and flowers 42-45 days.

Not with Peak but Greenthumb does Visa, Mastercard and American Express .... BY TELEPHONE ONLY!! (DA DA DA DUMMMMM)

I'm still squirrelly about calling even though I use a prepaid card, I much prefer paying over the computer. As little contact as possible.

Follow the link below and then check out the ratings for the different seedbanks. Pick those whose ratings appeal to you the most and then click on their links and check them out for genetics you would prefer at prices you see as being a good value or are within your price range.

Many people here push Attitude Seeds. They claim to have had great luck with their purchases getting through to them and say the prices are reasonable and they have a very wide selection of beans/breeders to pick from.

The ratings site does not give Attitude Seeds a high rating, only 2 stars out of 5 stars, BUT Attitude was newly added to the lost in January and Greenman does not just take the word of people who email saying one place or another is great. He relies on his own experiences and those of a number of people he knows and trusts and that is what he bases his ratings on so my guess is that he simply did not want to overrate Attitude Seeds before having more experience to judge by. He always starts out new seedbanks with a fairly low rating so that is not a sign of them being bad but likely just one of Greenman playing it safe and not laying his reputation on the line based on what people he does not know telling him.

I checked out Attitude Seeds and they do have a very wide selection of breeders and genetics and their pricing seems to be reasonable and depending on whose beans you look at and what each individual beans genetics are the prices range from being dirt cheap, like $18.81 for a 5-pack if I remember eight, to around $200.00 or more so you can find almost anything there and if price is a factor you can still find something there unlike some seedbanks where there are no low priced beans to be found.

You mentioned you wanted something compact, well they do sell Lowryder and they also have a category of Automatic Flowering Dwarfs and also one called Lowlife Autoflowering Seeds that are all small plants. Flowering times will vary of course but the more indica in the genetics the shorter flowering time will be required but regardless of that you will only get something to flower/mature in a certain period of time and not sooner. You can expect flowering times for most to be around 7 to 8 weeks with more being longer than you will find shorter.

Paying by credit card is not the safest thing in the world to do but it is in many cases much safer than in the past. There are highly secure servers and many seedbanks do not directly collect payment from your card and instead a third party bills your card and they then pay the seedbanks so the seedbanks themselves do not have your credit card number or records to go with your credit card and only have your name and shipping address and email address and in some cases they ask for a telephone number to use to contact you direct if needed.

So it still is not as safe as paying with a money order it is much safer than it was 5 or 10 years ago. The business name that shows up on your credit card statement or debit card/checking account statement will not say ABC Marijuana Seeds or anything. They use different names like Attitude Gifts or other various names so it is not like your statement will be a major red flag with the words MARIJUANA SEEDS on them. I would still suggest paying by money order but personally I would in some cases based on the system some seedbanks have not be at all worried about using a credit card.
