Replacing 600HPS. Need some help.

I have been reading, watching and trying to figure out COBs for some time now, but still I find myself struggling to fully comprehend them.

So to keep this short, Im looking to replace 600 HPS in a 4x4 space. My ideal scenario is keeping the wattage at 300-400w at the end of the day. Number of cobs can be anything between 4 to 12 I guess as longs as its PPFD is around 600 to 800.

My main goal in getting into LEDs is efficiency, just the thought of having the light system consuming half the power and providing equally or even more light to the plants as HPS 600 is insane. I need to keep low profile on my electricity bill.

I grow in SOG, so the canopy is pretty even and flat. I wouldn't ask for the help like this, but considering Ive already have some mother plants ready to be clones and my knowledge on LEDs is still not the greatest, Id be more than grateful for any help.

Also which COB is the golden standard now ? It used to be 3590, but now I hear a lot of Vero this, Citi that.

Tnx again fellas

Are you looking to DIY or a prebuilt?

Or just have a look at established brands and their spec and order those components to make a COB panel.

What lumens are we looking here at ? I know lumens are for humans but still lots of manufacturers keep posting specs with lumens and regular 600 HPS do around 90k lumens.
