i just added more lights to my set up and now my leaves are like sticking straight up and curling. this happened very rapidly, like over the course of an hour. is it too much light?

i just raised the lights a few inches. i have a 250 watt hps that 2 plants have been under, and i added 4 flourescent tubes and a cfl. thanks for the help plus rep for sure. my circulation is pretty bad, im working on it. any adivce on how to circulate a closet? there is attic access, maybe make a duct?

i wouldnt think flourescents would raise the temp so much, the plants are actually used to about 65 degrees right now. its winter in my area. and with the new lights it raised maybe to 70 ish. definately no crazy heat. thanks for the help

yes but with no adequate air circ the humidity level will drop to zero so even lower temps give the same effect of high temps in a normal humidity level.

In a grow 'room' there are several methods, none of which are possible safely in a cabinet. Fans are the only hope, cool air drawn in from the bottom and hot out the top.

lol, so it is the size of a wardrobe or cabinet! You have to sort out air flow thats all you can do, cold air in, hot out.

yeah, im gonna have to figure out how to get the air circulating better. i just put a box fan in there now, on low blowing at the plants and upward a little, so well see in an hour or so if that helps at all. thanks again +reps goin around now
