I owned a commercial building a while back and rented it out. In the real world, no matter what is implied or written in the rental agreement, I still had the right to inspect and maintain the safety and integrity of my property, by law, anytime I wanted to do so. The state rental laws granted me certain rights, even though they werent in the rental agreement or contract. Owners of properties usually win out in court, regardless of perceived rights of the renters. Im not saying that its right, its just how it is.
You may not know that the owner is going to come in and inspect the property but I guarantee you, if they are anywhere near the property, they can and will go in when you arent there and make sure you arent destroying the property. Even if its not written in the contract, they have the legal right to maintain the safety and integrity of the building with little or no notice.
Im just saying, make sure youre up tight and alright when renting commercial property cause in the real world, they can and will inspect whenever they want to. Just my 2 cents and its experience talking. S
