Hey I have a plant which went through a problem with burnt leaves so what I have done is taken off every leaf that was about 60% damaged and left her. she still has a lot of leaves left it looked like she was using a lot of energy trying to fix the leaves as there was a lot of them but she's made up for it in new growth.i know what's done is done but will it hurt or benifit the plant she's 18 days into 12/12 I can take a picture if needed.

You absolutely did the right thing. I always remove damaged and burnt leaves. But maintaining the level of light is important with low level light changes if needed.
I would remove any leaf 10% damaged if it is less than 50-70% of present volume. is rather high though. If v you don't touch the stems u won't decrease bud sites. Your leaves are changing over in any case.

This is her here's some pictures of what was causing the leaf death I've left some slightly damaged leaves as they to good to go any ideas what's causing this browning in the veins. I'm sure it's stopped not appearing on new growth the leaf starts out with brown dots that spread to patches then the leaf yellows and dies.20150421_101256.jpg 20150421_101845.jpg 20150421_101809.jpg 20150421_101643.jpg 20150421_101612.jpg

if its older lower leaves then could just be the ones not recieving enought light
Give one dose of veg nutes and then small doses of bloom and what was in the soil.problem started way before I touched a nutrient was told it was nutrient burn now I lost alot of leaves due to these rust dots that turn into patches then leaves die off I can post more pictures of what I'm experiencing now if that would help?

I thought it might be cal but every thing I'm reading about calcium deficiency that it starts in new growth and effects new growth this rust is all over large and small leaves and new growth is fine no spots so far the soil is biobizz all mix not sure what they mix with it

ive used biobizz once and had same probs the soil comes high in nitrogen and lasts around 3 weeks when you need to start upping the feed i got advised with epson salts previous and i used it and it did sort my problem my yield wasnt as good as previous but switched back to canna and never had the problem again
