well once ive grown and got loads of leaves and stems going spare what can i do with them cos it would be a waste to throw them away thanks

1 crock pot (the reason I use this is because you can slow cook it for hours without ANY chance of burning and ruining your THC)
2 pounds of butter
5 cups water
1 metal strainer
1 cheese cloth (for straining)

Put 5 cups hot water in the crock pot and turn it to Low and get it to 200 degres F. Toss all 2 pounds of the butter in and let it melt. While it's melting, take all your trim, wet, dry, doesn't matter... start grinding, chopping, cutting it all into tiny pieces... try not to knock loose so much crystals though. Throw all you can fit in the crock pot when it hits 200F. Make sure it can pretty much be submerged into the butter tho...

Now keep that crockin' for about 6-8 hours (or more if you feel it's not all extracted), stirring every hour or half hour (every time you stir, check the Temp, if it gets above 200, turn it off and wait till it gets back down then turn it back on). The trim and everything should look shit black green in the crock when it's done. After it's all done cookin' get a large tupware container to hold it all, put your metal strainer over it, put the cheese cloth on top of the strainer (lining the metal strainer) and pour all that shitty mess that was in the crock pot in. Get some gloves, the weed is 200F, and squeeze all the soaked trim into the strainer to squeeze out all that remaining butter.

Put a top on the container and put it in the freezer. Wait for it all to freeze, the water and butter will seperate. After it's all frozen you can pull the top green layer off (this is your cannabutter) and throw all the brown water shit away (that was your five cups water mixed with nasty fucking trim). Scrape off EVERY dirty spec from your butter (if you cook with it not scraped it'll taste like shit and might get you sick).

There ya go, frozen block of cannabutter. The more weed you put into the 2 pounds of butter the more potent... I put a pound of wet trim, half ounce of already vaped weed, and that shit was knockout stuff. Keep it in the fridge to store in any closed container.

If you want you can replace the 2 pounds of butter AND water in the recipe and just use a full bottle of Cooking Oil. It's said to be more potent (from the higher fat content) and you can store it longer, it's cleaner, and easier to cook with. After you cook it, just strain it right back into the bottle and keep it for ever.


EXTRA:
To safely melt down your cannabutter to pour into anything you're cooking (frozen butter is hard....) use the double boil method. It isn't anything as it sounds lol.

Grab a stove pot and fill it with... 2 cups of water. Set the stove to INCINERATE (lol). Grab a regular ol' glass measuring cup and put all the butter you want to cook with (whatever the recipe calls for or however potent you want it) and put it in the measuring cup. Put the measuring cup about 1 inch or 2 inches into the hot water. (There ya go, double boiling).

This is pretty much a way to melt something down without putting direct flame onto it. It's clean and easy.

Hope this helps and makes you some goodies. Anything that calls for oil, use butter, anything that calls for butter, use butter. I cooked brownies AND chicken alfredo pasta with pot butter in it. Got stoned from the pasta and got BAKED from desert, lol.

you can also make pot milk:)-Just buy some 3,5% milk(not less, more is fat is better), and the put it in a pot, and then but all, lets say 1 liter to the pot-put all the leaves and stems in, then cook it on your stove for an half hour.
After that , boil it untill theres only 3 cups of pot-milk left.Let it cool of a bit and drink it:):):):)
