Update Day 22:
IMG_0102.jpgIMG_0101.jpgIMG_0099.jpg Temps 70-85" Ph @ 6.8 added VERY small amount of Grow Big Nutes. I think this plant will take off when the roots reach the bottom of the netty pot, But I guess it has to make that far first I had been watering 2 times a day with an eyedropper but stopped , I am trying to get it's roots to reached down for water. I don't seems to be having the stretching I had last go round so that's good. One Question for experienced growers, will my plant veg better under a 150 HPS or the 2 25W 5600k CFFL's and 13W LED panel?

Update day 25:

Things could be going better however I think I may have saved my plant. More yellowing and browning popped up. So I got a bug up my ass to figure out what's wrong.

I read some where that proper ph is 6.8, last night I read that for DWC it should be 5.5 to 6.1 so I am now at 6 ph also read that the water level should be below the rock wool by about an inch, I didn't pay attention to my last grows water level I guess I got lucky, I must have gotten really lucky because I never tested my last grows PH just got the tester before this grow. With the PH high I may have a mag or phos deficiency. I'll post pics later tonight. it also makes me wonder if it is reading the Ph right.

Nice set-up dude. I am curious for LEDs as I am trying to figure out my set-up for my next grow. Sub'd. I wonder if your medium is staying too wet? I have never done a DWC before so it's just a guess. Sub'd

in my last grow https://www.rollitup.org/stealth-micro-cab-growing/587282-my-first-grow-noob-post.html I did not pay attention to ph or water level I started 6 bag seeds and ended with 3 girls ,all germed and grew fine these seed were years old as well. This Auto IS starting to Flower The white hairs are obvious this plant is tiny should I pull and start over or let her keep trying? This girl must be the definition of stunted. Also If I do keep her should I be giving her flowering nutes?
IMG_0109.jpgIMG_0111.jpgIMG_0110.jpg

Madrush21- LED's are awesome BUT the good ones cost the one I have was 30 bux off ebayz and it is only 13w however it will veg plants and puts out VERY little heat, I also like the fact that I can mount it right to the side and give some extra light under the canopy see my last grow as an example of that.

I have been running 20 on 4 off. Fox farm hydro grow big for Veg and fox farm tiger bloom for flower. Auto can be run 24 on but I figure she could use a break maybe I should kick it up to 24 on.

here is a blurb on autos.
Auto Seeds are specialist breeders of the finest quality autoflowering seeds. Created with both the connoisseur and commercial growers in mind, our autoflowering varieties can be ready in as little as 55 days from seed to harvest. They are an ideal choice when space is limited or stealth and speed are a must. Our auto seeds will flower irrespective of light cycle making several harvests in one outdoor season possible whilst also providing ultimate control for the indoor gardener. For nearly 3 years we have dedicated our research to developing the best in feminized auto flowering seed genetics. We have combined classic and legendary cup winning strains to create a stabilised and all feminized autoflowering seeds collection with a wide range of traits and tastes. Our range of next generation autos have been created to achieve the highest quality, biggest yield and best flavour possible. Many other autoflowering seeds lack strength and flavour as well as producing undersized yields from their autoflowering plants. These are issues we have worked tirelessly to overcome and the results are plain to see in our outstanding range of super auto seeds. The increased yields and strength from our premium genetics, make our next generation autoflowering seeds superb quality and outstanding value for money. Auto Seeds – Experience the best in auto flowering genetics.
So I am not sure if the Auto Amnesia made it the Auto Pounder one died right after germ.
here is a blurb on each.

Amnesia autoflowering is a precious large and vigorous plant that grows a lot and very fast, with large sativa looking leaves. The internode distance facilitates a broader illumination on the whole plant, leading to large size buds. It is an autoflowering with clear sativa predominance, easily visible in the quality and quantity of its buds. Buds look like a fox tail, that´s how big they get.
Indoors you have to monitor the plant because it gets really big, up to 5 feet in good conditions.
It matures more progressively than other autos and it might need 85 days since it is germinated to produce 150 grams in ideal conditions.
It is better to give moderate levels of EC because it is a plant that produces a perfect flavor when given medium level of nutrients.
Amnesia genetics are well known for its strong effects and high yielding and its auto sister lives up to fulfill the expectations, since it´s effects are the most powerful of our autoflowering strains.

  • Smells like incense.
  • The effect is very cerebral and strong making it different from other autoflowerings.
  • Yield: 40 to 150 grams
  • Height: 75 to 150 cm
  • Flowering time: 75-85 days

Auto Pounder is the yield king of autoflowering strains. Its massive harvests are comparable to many standard non-autos. This makes it an ideal choice for any commercial grower who would not usually consider autoflowering varieties yet would like the benefits an auto delivers. Auto Pounder was developed crossing our high production Auto #1 with two of the highest yielding strains available today: Sensi’s original Big Bud and the incredible yielding Power Plant. Under optimal conditions, Auto Pounder can produce almost 1 pound (450g/m2) per square meter. Auto Pounder also maintains maximum flavour which is both sweet and fruity as well as excellent disease and pest resistance. To deliver such huge yields, Auto Pounder has a slightly larger stature than standard autos with a very high flower to leaf ratio and greater height, usually around 60-100cm. It will finish in as little as 70-80 days from seed. Auto Pounder is considered very easy to grow and is an excellent choice for beginners as well as more experienced growers.
Flowering : Autoflowering
Genetics : Auto #1 x Big Bud x Power Plant
Flowering Time : Medium
Height : Medium
So today makes day 27 ,that's why I am so worried. only 50 to 60 days should be left in the grow cycle.
I decided to kick on the HPS and feed them some Flowering nutes and bump the Ph up to 5.8 well see what happens.

IMG_0119.jpgNew bean down Auto Pounder.

IMG_0118.jpgAs you can see my first try looks VERY weak and at 31 days it's a joke of a plant.

IMG_0116.jpg I stack up some bins to get the grow closer to the HPS. Also I painted the 3 gal black light was getting thru where the plastic was thin and growing mold like moss. I found some on the bottom of the rock wool.

IMG_0115.jpg Here is a shot with the 150w HPS blazing.
IMG_0117.jpg Top section. no HPS. All cleaned out fresh everything.

I am seriously thinking about Changing my medium to soil based any suggestions on some thing I can pick up anywhere and can I use my hydro nutes or would I have to get a different kind?

If you do go to soil I recommend fox farm ocean forest and their soil nute line...well at least the tiger bloom. I haven't used the others yet.
