Regular vs. Feminized

I overheard a conversation where someone said to the other "why would you ever want to buy regular?" I thought to myself what a f'n idiot. Then I tossed a question to people I know personally and all though they didn't have a strong opinion about the subject didn't really know how fems are made. Just google colloidal silver and that is all the info anyone would ever need. The problem with CS is that it doesn't work on all strains. A strain has to have the ability to produce pollen from an otherwise all female plant.
I had an outside grow several years back and got all the males out just as they were starting to stretch. One lousy 5 inch branch at the base of a skunk #1 from bag seed hermed on me. It was enough to pollinate the other 9 plants. The plants were not even stressed. I found out later that the strain had a higher than average chance of producing nut sacks.
Now I have a strain that will not herm not matter how much CS or other types of stress put on it. C99 will not produce pollen and if it wasn't for the fact that it tends to get moldy it would be a great outdoor plant. I guess that is why there is such a big drop off in quality when you go from regular to feminized..so here is the question.. which strains do you think drop off the most when going from reg. to fem. and which do not? Either too much inbreeding or the fact that you cut off a large part of the gene pool is the reason why a strain looses out to being female..
I am going to say that from my own experience Cindy 99 looses the most from reg. to fem. and AK47 would be the least. Any opinions from personal experiences?
