regular CFL or flood CFL?

i'm wondering if flood lights are a better way to go Vs regular CFLs. the reason i'm bringing this up is because i dont plan on vegging more than 2 weeks tops since i basically just want a big cola. since i'm focusing on doing a microgrow i think keeping them short is a good idea since that means i can squeeze in an extra plant or two.

the floods would put light mostly on the top of the plants but since they wouldnt get that tall anyway it wouldnt hurt if the light was more focused directly onto the plants as opposed to a more diffused light like from a regular type bulb. i already plan on setting up the sides of the grow box to be reflective anyway but i'm wondering if i'm doing a small scale version of the SOG method basically if i should used flood light bulbs instead.

i dont care which i use but i think focusing most of the light on top of the plant would produce better results since the top of the plant sees most of the light anyhow.

here's my thought process on this...

i germinate seeds and veg them for a week or two, two weeks tops. then i force them into flowering after that and then harvest when they're done and repeat the process. in fact my goal is to start a tote every month and be able to harvest a tote every month, now since that requires more than one tote that means more space taken up on the floor but if i keep the plants short i can stack the totes and take up the space of one on the floor. i dont like the idea of stacking but it would maximize the floor space already being used by one.

but anyway this is about bulbs. which would you use? regular type CFL's or flood type CFLs. i call my idea the POG method, puddle of green since it's on a micro scale. so i'm thinking flood bulbs would be a slightly better choice.

I use the regular ones with the long looking one like in the aero garden, i to have been wondering if anyone as tried the flood ones yet dont see why they wouldnt work though unless they produce to much heat but i doubt it.
