Reflective Materials

I was wondering if foil will work well enough until i can purchase some mylar? Or what else can i use to help with the relfective issue i'm having? I dont have a MH or HPS..I'm using flouros so i dont think the foil will burn my plants.. any ideas suggestions???

White paint then, NO FOIL!

dude i used to have a plain room with just my tarps up until the other day, dont use foil dude that can raise the temps way to much, just go to wal-mart/k-mart or any store such as and get space blankets, there like 2 bucks and definatly get the job done well

foil is a no-no, the space blankets are ok at best. better than foil anyway. flat white paint. or semi-gloss, I like semi-gloss as its a bit easier to clean than flat.

right on i appreciate the comments.. i havent used foil til this point so i guess i will continue to not use it.. i was just wondering if it actually did more harm than good... so thanks for that. so im guessing mirrors would be a no-no too?

mylar isnt that expensive. you can get 50 feet X 48" for 25 bucks.

would save you money over a paintjob, or blankets, or a bunch of foil, or mirrors...

and it would be the ideal option
