Recreational legal in Massachusetts!

Yeah

It looks like we do have a good year or so. I get that they want to stop people from growing: no revenue, no regulation. Not that I'm going to follow that though. ;-)
It's F'ing BS. I read the law yesterday. The established med facilities are being given all the rights. They pretty much wrote the law... They get first go at rec shops, the state has until mid 2018 to license up to 75 more med dispensaries, which can sell rec. Individuals like me can't even apply for cultivation permits until Jan 1 2019...Fing 2019!

people don't seem to realize just how busy trump is going to be. i highly doubt he'll have time to devote to fucking up cannabis.
and if you thought congress fucked with barry the kenyan, just wait till you see how they block everything trump tries to do. i foresee 4 years of a frustrated trump and a frustrated congress, snapping at each others tails, another 4 years of uselessness.

If I'm not mistaken, we can start legally growing here in Mass starting Dec. 16th of this year. I'm just hoping that I can wrap my head around this growing thing in time. :) Information overload, need to KISS.

Maybe not, read the boson globe article I linked to earlier.

It doesn't mention anything about changing that Dec. 15th timeframe, they'd have to move pretty fast on that. I'm guessing it's the rec. shops and mass production that they're balking at. Time will tell.

Dec 15th you can legally grow and you can also "gift" up to an oz.

By gifting, it means you can accept "donations" and "gift" cannabis in return.

So for those of you already established growers, on dec 15th you can start legally selling, oh sorry, "gifting" your weed to whoever.

For those of you looking to buy weed before rec shops open, find yourself a grower who's accepting donations. They'll be popping up all over craigslist and shit soon enough

Do you need the permit for the alloted 12 per household? Or are you planning on more than that?

No permit needed for up to 12 plants( 6 plants per person, up to 2 persons per household) for PERSONAL use. Yeah I want more than the 12 plant limit, I'm looking to grow commercially, so that's why I'm looking into permits.
Gotcha, that would be great!, but yes looks like a tough&expensive process..
