This is my first time growing with coco peat as shown in the photo and my seedling is sick, rarely my seedling get sick in perlite but this is a white rhino which i know is sensitive to ferts. i only used one dose of 1/4 strenth ferts then flushed and flushed after it got sick.
I have plenty of better seeds to choose from should i just start again?

coco peat takes too long to dry out too, like a week or more between waterings.coir.png burnt.png

Two things. One, buy a ppm meter. A 1/4 dose of you have no idea what is still you have no idea what. Second, if it takes forever to dry out, water it less. Its only the size of your thumb. Just remember that when your thinking how much to water. Weed likes wet dry wet dry. All wet will stunt it. Dont worry, the more it grows, cthe more frequently youll have to water. Also, in peat and coir, you sould be feeding at every water. And at that size you should he feeding really low ppms.

Just to add to what alien widow said, if it takes forever to dry out that means your roots are not getting oxygen, what ever kind of media you use remember it must drain well. I like using peat Moss,by itself it doesn't drain very good, so I always use a little sand in my mix to provide adequate drainage.

A plant that young doesn't need any fertilizer it doesn't have enough leaves/roots to deal with it. .
