yes yes. the eternal question.

who do you trust more?

in this case, we have NASA on one side and fox news on the other.

34 national academies of science on one side, david duke conspiracy theories on the other.

a mountain of empirical data on one side, and wholesale collective conspiratorial delusion on the other.

i will choose to trust NASA, 34 national academies of science, and a mountain of empirical data over david duke conspiracy theories that so many idiots buy into as a collective conspiratorial delusion which is confirmation biased into their heads by fox news daily.

are you gonna go with the "hoax" explanation instead, as espoused by KKK grand wizard david duke?

NASA,paid by the government, so were the big foot scientist researchers in Oregon,
34 acadamys of science, also paid by the government,
if I remember right at one time the government was saying the only good indian is a dead one,
their soldiers drank the cool aid too, thousands of them running all over the place killing Indians,
cause the only good Indian is a dead one, the history of this country is full of people just like you who drank the cool aid,
I suppose you believe the governments GDP numbers, their unemployment numbers and their inflation numbers, If the government says it it must be true right?
Just like when obamao said we need solar power and wind power, then all his cronies got big fat government contracts making solar panels got rich, then all filed bankruptcy and walked out with billions in tax payer dollars,
keep drinking the cool aid

But are you going to cite some peer reviewed research which contradicts the vast majority of climate scientists?

Oh look, a Wikipedia link. Still waiting for peer reviewed research denying man made global warming.
As nearly as I can tell, "peer reviewed" means you get a few people in your field to agree with you. Not exactly what I consider a high bar, and not all that much to hang your hat on, evidence-wise.

Not sure what you have against Wikipedia... They actively censor any input that questions global warming, to the point of removing the articles. Not sure if they are still doing it... but they were for a while. Sounds to me like they are on your side, not mine. Or are you saying that the Little Ice Age didn't occur?

Cheers

The very invocation of "consensus" and "settled science" on the part of the warministas is indeed inherently unscientific.
The true scientific method welcomes any and all serious challenges to any proffered hypothesis or theory.

Simply saying that the science is settled and then attempting to stifle any and all criticism is antithetical to real science.
This is only about politics.
Science left the building years ago.

A hoax, and a scam in the process of being propagated, which, according to most recent polls is falling short, and not gaining any traction with the voting public.

Second to last...

actually, it was the department of energy that invested in sustainable energy companies via the ARRA, and their investment success record in doing so was far better than even romney's success record with bain capital.

once again, you are demonstrating that you do not live in reality, but rather a collective conspiratorial delusion.

you'd be doing yourself a favor at this point if you shut the fuck up and didn't bury yourself any further.

and once again, you fail to cite anything relevant or rebut any of the scientific evidence that clearly demonstrates that human activities are causing CO2 levels to rise, which in turn is warming the planet.

if you're gonna deny reality, why half ass it?

you should put the same amount of effort into your reality denial that i see you put into your racism over on that other site where you drone on endlessly about al sharpton and call elizabeth warren "fauxcahontas" while you complain about the evils of political correctness.

It is a pretty clear case of science being politicized... and to it's detriment. A larger problem will be seen at a later time, when a true and very real existential threat to us all will come up... and the people will respond with cynicism, having been already fooled once.

Crying wolf is never a good longterm strategy...

NASA - not a political organization

the heartland institute - political organization

you speak about crying wolf and learning from history, but you don't seem to grasp the concept that the only ones politicizing the issue are the deniers. we saw this all before during the 90s with tobacco companies. they also paid political groups like the heartland institute to put out bad science to delay action on the issue, just as monied interests like exxonmobil are doing today with AGW.

are you honestly this retarded?
