recommendations for new lighting?

Hey RIU,

So im more than halfway into flowering, and then my freaking 600w lighting with its shitty ballast starts playing games, not working anymore. The light have been a pest since day one, and such waste of money. Three days have gone, and i couldnt get that piece of junk to work, meanwhile my plants have gotten their light-source by the sun, standing near the window. I'm guessing the sun light aint an optimal long-termed light source, when the plants are used to a 600w light? Am i right?

So what i need now is a new source of lightning. Any of you guys that have a cheap, affordable but yet !HANDY! (no more ballast/self mounted cables EVER) idea for an alternative? For what i know of, you'll get a pretty crappy yield if you use normal household lamps as your lighting source, so i guess that ones of the hook.

I dont want to get an all fancy expensive light, even though it might be worth it. As i said im more than halfway through flowering, making me only have around three weeks left till' i can start drying them, so what im looking for is just an acceptable & handy light source, to get me through these last couple of week, because after that i'll take a break from growing for a while.

Take note, that i live in Europe, so dont link me products unless the website ships internationally.

I've myself taken a look at this;
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Grow-Panel-Hydroponic-Light-Board/dp/B004PA08BC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1395155542&sr=8-1&keywords=led+grow+light

Its very handy, kinda cheap and is low on electricity-usage, but is it good enough for 120x120x200 grow tent where i usually grow around 10 plants?

Thank you in advance!

if your window faces south (and is large enought) and you can somehow manage not to interfere with the normal light cycle this time of year (i.e. light leaks)...my guess is the sun may just work....maybe it may add a couple of weeks, but southern facing windows are pretty damn bright and represent a nice source of light all things considered

It is facing south, and the window is pretty damn big, the problem is that i cant have it on my windows frame, since it will be too easy for dickheads to notice, I live right in the downtown of my city on 2th floor sooo yea, that kinda sucks...And what do you mean "not to infere with the normal light/light leaks", The plants are being placed just out in my living room, not in my tent.
Please take note, i live in scandinavia and sometimes the sunlights here can be very limited.

Would appreciate if anyone came in with a little help, of if you just confirmed that light linked is fine, would also be fantastic

Well, if you do the math it will take a shit ton of those 14W LED's to replace an HPS 600...and you have 10 plants as well.

Spend the $100 on Amazon for a new Apollo 600 ballast.
