Ready to Flush?

Tried getting some closeups on my plants today... This is my first grow and I want to flush for over a week.

Do these look ready to start flushing? Don't want to start to early and affect sugar leaves and such...

They are around 7 weeks into flower

I'm sure someone else will respond. They look like they can go a couple of more weeks.

Yer pics under white light and we will all chime in, only thing worse than pics with hps on is pics with purple leds. Some of them buds look a little stretched out in the background.

I don't see any amber trichomes yet. Wait until you see some amber then start flushing mate.

Yea, it was just one I took on my cell not intending to post. I'll get a better one this eve.

Thanks, I'm having a hard time determining if they are cloudy or just reflecting light from the camera... I guess waiting for a bit of amber would be a sure fire way to know where it's at

What does amber have to do with flushing?

Flushing is to cleans soil/medium.

My goal is to harvest with less than 30% amber... I want to flush for at least a week closer to two... So amber would be a sign that I would reach my desired harvest time while also flushing as long as I would like...

Flushing too early and I'd be left with buds that suffered in size due to lack of nutes...

how do you clean immobile nutrients from soil?

Nutrients with this ability are said to be mobile nutrients, and include nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and molybdenum. In contrast, immobile nutrients do not have the ability to translocate from old to new growth. Immobile nutrients include calcium, sulfur, boron, copper, iron, manganese, and zinc.

I know this is my first grow... but I'm not sure why my question or answer doesn't make sense. Maybe you are just being an ass...

Determining when to start flushing (when trying to flush for at least a week) so that the timing also aligns with when you want to harvest seems like common sense to me...

your plants have 2-3 weeks left, flushing is a stoner forum myth. if you want to fade your plants by just giving them plain water, wait another week or so.

Flushing is to cleans your soil/medium by passing (RO) water through it. Nothing more. This can be done with or without a plant present, before or after a grow. It's something to deal with salt buildup.

It is not done to improve taste.

Well I've read as much as I could for this grow and while I know there are those who don't "flush" (stop with nutes and give only ph'd ro water), There seem to be plenty who do and swear by it taking some harshness out of the buds...

Now you've got me thinking whether to or not, so I guess I'll go read some more...

So if I'm running an aeroponics setup your saying I definitely have no need to flush?
