Ready to cut

Ok, so this is some Jock Horror at 56 days flower. The question is should I cut it within the next day or so? I don't have access to a microscope, I tried using a 8meg camera to look at trichromes but that didn't work well enough. Couple of different phenos this one was smelling very lemony a couple days ago and seems to be less so now. PS I am tired of looking at it while I smoke crappy chronic. What do you guys think, cut now or let it go longer?

I grow Jack Herer, also known as Jock Horror and it has always had an 8 to 10 week flowering period. 56 days is not enough. Give it another week or two. Be patient, you'll be very glad you were when you harvest some amazingly awesome bud. :hump:

Plant looks amazing but not ready yet i say at least 1 more week probably 2 though, I know it sucks to wait especially smoking some crappy kind but will be worth the wait. I love your avatar by the way.

I've already cut the nutes to just water and molasses at day 50, should I give more nutes or keep going with the flush? The leaves on 1 plant are starting to show the def (a little yellowing).

If you decide to leave it for another 2 weeks or so, don't bother with the nutes... watering with ph'd water is fine and will remove any chemical taste you might get when you are ready to smoke it. The leaves will die anyway and at this point the plant is working on making bud only. It isn't worrying about it's leaves anymore.

LOL.... well it could always be worse.... you could have no crappy chronic to smoke while you wait

Give her time.... let her finish.... and for goodness sake... get yourself down to Radio Shack and spend $10 on a small hand held microscope

Im so glad to see this post because I just ordered 10 seeds of Jock Horror. this makes me so glad i did since Ive never seen it. but it looks awesome and now Im really excited to finish this bag seed grow Im doing and start on some real strains dammit.

super high search JOCK HORROR, there are posts with more pics and info. PS I just ate a bunch of brownies (some sativa that would never mature right), hopefully my meager attempt at canna butter worked. Yeah, I can manage $10 just have to make the trip to radio shack.

I was pretty lazy myself and didn't feel like driving all the way across town to Radio Shack either..... so I ordered mine on the internet.. Shipping was $6.00

yeah I paid $32 for mine... Your plant def has at least two weeks in my opinion. My plant (harvesting tomorrow) just started showing its amber tricomes two days ago, and oddly enough the pistils have been red for about a week.

patience. this is where people tend to screw up.... Getting impatient and just cutting when the 2 weeks left will result in 10x better quality.

The microscope is your best friend. no matter if your looking for 50/50 or all amber, 60 - 75 days is usually required for maturation. Trust me, and wait, you will be so proud of yourself in the end.

So, I got the scope, great entertainment. I also got impatient and took the lower 1/3 of the branches off (small nug on each one), hopefully it will give the main bud a boost.

yeah i saw a lot of pictures of it. looks great. cant wait to grow it. wish i could still smoke

Cant cause it gives me panic attacks like everytime now. such a bitch. now i just grow as a caregiver for an mmj patient (that lives in my home). so I guess when Im done theyll be my test bunny. MUHAHAHAHAHAA
