Ready for transplant yet?

Hey guys!

This one is 12 days old. Normally I was planning to wait until next week to transplant but today I saw a root coming out of the cup. She's gonna go into a 5 gallon airpot.

What do you think?

Oh, btw I'll be away on a trip from friday to sunday. So maybe transplanting tomorrow and giving her a good water is not such a bad idea, considering in a 5 gallon with such small plant, a watering could stand for 5 to 7 days. So I don't have to worry about my 2 and half day of absence. Although, even in this plastic cups, I don't have to water before once every 2-3 days. So I might also just wait until I get back.

Thanks! Then I'll do that tomorrow. Do you think it's better to water and soak the 5 gallon a couple hours or maybe a day before the transplant for the microbiological activity, or should I just put it into dry soil and water after having transplanted?

I like to pre-soak to slight runoff then let sit in grow environment and lose a pound of weight/moisture before transplant and don't water until I get to within one pound of dry weight. I like my roots searching for moisture, Auto grower.
