Hey guys.
So this is my first grow. Indoors, hydro (in Coco coir), using fox farm nutes. My plants are in week 9 and starting to bloom.
I have one AK48, one Aurora Indica. The AK is doing badly.

The bottoms leaves are yellowing out. I've tried reducing nutes for a couple of days (suspected it was Nitrogen overdose, or deficiency), then went back to normal, decline rate remained the same.
I've also noticed there is some... fungi? in the edges of the box, around the roots. I think I've been over saturating the medium and not letting it breath/dry up enough. Any idea what this is? Could this be the cause of my problem?
Any other ideas? I'm pretty helpless here atm :\

Thanks!

I think ur right. Let them dry up more before watering, n maybe even water less untill the root zone is larger.
Also I would stop using clear pots.

it looks like N deficiency to me. it also looks like you have other two issues going on - the first one is like you suspected - your medium is staying too wet for too long. the other issue is that because you have a clear container, light is allowed to penetrate onto that wetness and grow algae. water less and wrap something around the container to keep the light off the roots. I like a clear container because you can monitor moisture levels and root development but you must keep those roots in the dark when yer not peeking under her skirt!

first thing first, WRAP THE PLANTER

roots die if they get hit with light. they want absolute darkness

second, DRAINAGE

i bet youi aint got any holes in that box, so the water will stand and turn sour at the bottom, growing funk.

cut at least 4 1 inch holes at the lowest points on that box, or 8 half inch holes. with no drainage your roots smother.

do that shit and check back in a week.

Haha this forum is the best.
Thanks guys, applying your wisdom as we speak :)

(btw, actually do have drainage, but I recently put them in a larger tray that doesn't, so they end up soaking their bottoms in solution anyway. My bad.)
