Re-vegging Harvested Plants

Hi Guys,

I have a really good pheno that I want to use but the clones died. She is day 73 of flower. I cut clones in week 5 but they rooted and then just fizzled out.

Really worth the effort so how best do I do this? I have done it before, just leaving like 30% of the plant left when harvesting in putting the plant under light. Is this the only way? I am willing to loose some bud here so if I keep more of the plant does that improve my success rate?

Any help would be greatly apprecaited so I am open to any suggestions?

I just take the plant out of the pot
Trim branches and leave a few buds
Trim the roots down about an inch on all sides and return to pot with fresh soil
Water with a light nitrogen feed and place under 24/7 light
Good luck

What medium is she in now?

If I'm going to re-veg, I would top dress some kelp meal and worm castings and water in some aloe vera powder with every watering. I think all the benefits would give me a higher success rate. I would also raise my light up a little bit.(no reason other than my gut) I would be careful about taking too much off at harvest, I've had a plant die on me when I've only left a couple buds, but I've also had success with a single bud Leaving a 1/3rd seems like a good plan if you absolutely must have it, but if it's not the end of the world, I would leave 3 lower buds. I'm definitely not an expert on the subject.

Thanks to all. I appreciate it.

I am going to go with 1/3 of the stalks removed and leave stleast like 3 or 4 buds per a cola.

I do know its a gamble either way so I will just have to wait and see. I do think that less is better and I will chop with that in mind.

This plant has grown 30-40% faster than any of the 15+ genetics I am currently rotating through. The budding on it as well is what you want from a plant. Long ass buds on every cola. Whats best is that its a dark purple.

I do this often when I grow Bubblegum. The breeder/seller tells me he commonly gets it to flower 3 times. I grow outside and have learned the lesson about spending money on nutes. They will take your money but the plants usually do poorly after a chemical regime.

I’m the opposite. Soil water only for inside. Drip irrigation with salts outside.
