I have heard both sides of the story, to re-use and not to re-use. Regardless you should sterilize the soil to prevent damping off. BTW Fox Farm is all I use, and I have re-used it on plants, just have to add nutrients the previous plants took away, so to speak. Good luck!

I prefer fresh soil. IMO it is worth the minimal investment for fresh Fox Farm's Ocean Forest soil for my plants. With that stuff I don't need nutes until flowering. I love it. Painless and predictable.........

Yea, I got rid of all the roots systems out of the soil. I threw clones into flower too soon, so the roots were not taking up ALL the soil. added Peralite and now I have a big bag of Fox farm ocean forest. to cut with the new stuff. anyways the reson for asking is getting rid of potting soil is a pain in the ass. getting too cold to walk to the river at night and falling overboard. Oh and I use Earth juice for nutes. never used the catalyst really just grow and bloom. If that matters.
