Re-potting and sexing conundrum

So. Here's the skinny on my quick but perplexing question.

I got 14 good healthy plants several weeks into vege. Our timetable requires us to flower them in 1.5 weeks (about 6 weeks after germination total). Im guessin they probably wont show sex. Unfortunately, they are in 1 gallon pots.

I only plan to keep half. I want to transplant to 5 gallon pots (maybe this is too big given how short of a vege time they got?).

But i cant fit 14 5 gallon pots in my tent.

So im faced with either repotting them AFTER flowering starts. Or ... transplanting all 14 into maybe 3-4 gallon pots and then flowering, and THEN sexing and removing.

We're on a tight time schedule :(

Here's the pics of the plants.. they have about 1.5-2 weeks of vege left. Do they need 5 gallon pots? We want max yield .. and they will be going under 1000 watts

think i should go small on the pot sizes .. maybe 4 gallon ? and or transplant after flowering and sexing
