RDWC Setup

That 5hit

All 6 are connected to each other. I just add to the res. The res uses a water pump. The water pump connects to the 2 end buckets like a T. The water enters the two buckets, then gravity pushes the water through the two rows. At the end of that, gravity moves the water back into the res. From the res, the water goes back to the water pump and that's the cycle.

To empty, I just unattach the water pump from the 2 end buckets and attach a different tube that I'll stick in some buckets. The water pump will pump the water into a bucket, then I turn it off when the bucket is full, empty it, turn the pump back on and repeat. When I fill it up, I just pour buckets of water in the res with the water pump on and everything gets recirculated.

If you plan to build something simular, use black tubes instead of clear tubes (algae), use open/close valves in-between the bucket connections (so you can separate them if needed) and hm, that's all I can think of at the moment.

Doing pretty good I think. I rose the light up to tie some down. Here they are at 17 or so inches. I'm thinking about flowering them tonight or tomorrow. Also added a small fan under and between #5 & #6.

See any possible problems in the future? Any suggestions? Comments? Thanks for coming by :).

I switched them 12/12 lastnight under the MH still. I'll use this until I start seeing more hairs, then switch to HPS. Didn't wanna give them any darkness period since they're already mature enough (showing sex 3 weeks ago), and I don't want them to search for light aka stretch.

Ohh so exciting!

Very cool! :)

I would of used hps all the way, but each to their own.

Keep us updated :)

WOW man very nice, I started a week after you and have literally the exact same setup only it's shoved into a 2x4 tent and I'm still expecting a QP per plant at the rate its going. Just wish I had a bit more space like you. A well planned and executed recirculating DWC is simply the best setup in my opinion and I'm going to start a thread/grow journal with plenty of pictures to prove it tomorrow. Hope to see you there.

your plants look extememly healthy, the only suggestion I can think of is puting a fan inbetween the light and the plants

Btw man, love the way the pics look with the reflective stuff everywhere! The reflection of the buckets off the wall are trippy as hell
