Rather Important Meeting for Co. Caregivers

The Registry will be requesting a rule-making hearing at the Board of Health meeting on July 16.

The proposed rules add a new regulation for the development of the Research Grant Program and the Medical Marijuana Scientific Advisory Council and proposed amendments to proof of residency, medical marijuana center reporting by patients, and caregiver limit waiver regulations. Of note, they want to do away with caregiver patient limit waivers.

IMO - that's bad for those that live in rural areas and are not near any dispensaries of quality.

I'm not even a caregiver and I find this to be another step in the wrong direction.
