So, Couldn't find any Grow journals on either of these strains so I thought that I would start one here myself.

[/FONT]Cali Connection Original Sour Diesel

Original Sour Diesel line is here! We took our Sour Og male and crossed it to the Original Sour Diesel clone to start our Original Sour Diesel line. The seeds produce a very uniform structured plant extremely similar to its mother. Very resinous extremely stinky so odor control is a must, great branching and cloning, all around great seed line. Our Original Sour Diesel clone is the precursor to ECSD and the current Sour diesels out there... She was the first one to make what we know as Sour Diesel today. This clone is what everyone on the east coast thinks of when they think of sour diesel. Straight sour kerosine funk to the max. She smacks your lips then smacks you in the head. Great long lasting high with phenomenal medicinal properties. Our goal was to bring this amazing cut to seed and its finally here. Expect large yields so your going to need added support.

Flower time - 9-10weeks


Started 3 seeds of Each, hoping for 1 male and two females of each to do some crosses with and to reproduce some seed stock but we shall see how things pan out there.

Germination: Paper Towel Method

Sour Diesel seeds were large and meaty
Venom Og were very small and green, looked very fresh, was concerned that they wouldn't crack but got 100% germ rate from both strains.

all seeds sprouted in 48 hours and are now in Jiffy Pellets (not my preferred method would have preferred Rapid Rooters, or something like that but whats done is done)

From there They will stay under Blue CFL until well rooted Once ready they will go under a 400w Hortilux Blue in a DIY Aero-System 1/5 timer
and will stay there until they are flowered in the same system under a 1000w Hortilux Blue.

Depending on the growth pattern, will most likely be LST'd for maximum light exposure, similiar to a scrog

Advanced Nutrients Grand Master feeding schedule (minus Piranha and Tarantula as I have had issues with the nutes with hydro)
start light go heavy.

Well, have had many problems due to environmental issues. Lots or root system issues. Finally figured out to throw frozen water bottles in the reservoirs. I have identified to of the Sour Diesels as females. The venom og has not shown much vigor with the exception of one pheno, which I believe willl be a male, but so far The Cali Sour Diesel looks like it will be the cash cropper has some very nice candy funk to the stems when you rub them. I might be moving so not sure if I am going to set them to flower yet and I want to really bush them out. I will take some pics today and hopefully load them up for you and the world to see. yeah, update is GOod... and I suck for doing such a poor job keeping up with my journal... but here we are. I started Flowering these 8-22. So Yeah, I vegged these for a really long time... and sadly.. you wouldn't know it. Now, thats probably all my fault since I have taken clones of the O. Sour Diesel and really kicking myself in the ass for not taking clones of the venom but I did take pollen from the male and hit branches on both strains so hopefully I will get something nice from them.. the polled also smashed my auto-strain too so that could be interesting

I didn't really Detail them. a few things I will add to the journal. Had some rough times, High Temps, Nutrient Burn, Deficiency's, Root Rot, PH issues... everything except bugs have plagued me through this grow... thank God, none of these problems weren't the first with the exception of white leaves... looked bleached but I know they weren't lights were never that close.. but frozen water bottles in the rez every 12 to 24 hours helped alot. Temps definitely messed me up but have included some picks of close that are 1/3 of the age and are as big as there mother at 1/3 of the age... so I'm excited

So, the latest news is The Sour D is turning purple SUPER STOKED since this will be my first color changing strain and was totally unexpected as nothing I've read said that the strain would turn purple
secondly I am putting everything in full darkness until i harvest and doing a straight RO water flush.. I might leech them, haven't decided yet, but probably not since changing my res' is a pain in the ass... can't wait to show pics of them hanging and then SMOKE REPORT! I should harvest in the next 10 days

Yeah, I hit the sour d, the venom og, and an autoflower that was either auto afghan kush or blue mammoth, hit them all with the venom OG pollen. The suspected male was indeed a male

I'm sure you willl find some nice dank in those seeds.. Good luck with those..
