I am excited he won. He'll beat the democrat for sure. A poll was done a few months back showing either Republican Paul or Grayson would defeat any democrat by double digits.
I thought Rand was aggressive in criticizing Obama during his speech.

A movement gains momentum...
This should send out a clear message to the entrenched parties.
I formerly had VERY negative attitudes towards the Teaparty. I went against my own tennent of questioning the medias rampant deception. I saw the massive amounts of rhetoric being dumped in the mainsteream media and slapped myself into looking deeper than I had. I found that the teaparty was not, the ignorant bumpkins, that they were not the racists, they were not the violent, angry mob that the media has portrayed them to be. I asked my self WHY? does the media so vociferoulsy potray them as such. I surmised because they were scared of them. WHY? are they so scared? Because they represent a break from the 2 party system that keeps the system of bribes and taxation without representation in place.
Even those who so vociferously hate the teaparty cannot forward critisism of Rand Paul's platform.

Go with your feelings Ken-do Wan Kenobi. Keep asking questions. Stray no further, come back from the Dark Side. :)

I don't know what you're all so excited about. Paul has many illogical views and he will likely lose the general election. Supporting the legalization of marijuana is terribly unpopular among conservative voters whom he needs in order to win. His views on segregation will likely turn away a great deal of voters as well.

you want the one that comes with a digital clock on the handle or the regular one that comes with a $10 off coupon redeemable at Droids-R-Us?

Actually most conservatives support legalization of marijuana, you think that because the mass media wants the model conservative to be like that. this site is proof, i bet there are more conservatives here tan liberals, and this is a marijuana site...

pauls views reflect the values of individual freedoms and rights, i dont know about you but i want as many rights as i can get. ya dig? :hump:

Just because he is a "Paul".... shrug.

Stick with the principles...not the person. That's how we ended up with the nightmare of Obama.

Anybody that uses marijuana and wants to own themself has a much better chance doing that with R.Paul than Palin / McCain or Obama for that matter.

I agree Rob....absolutely....

London.... if you are talking in the present tense... yes...ABSOLUTELY, I would prefer McCain had won. The rest of the country now regrets the AWFUL choice they made....

Anyone seen a Budget lately? What's the problem Democrats?

Is it because it will put on display the economic carnage they have reeked upon the country since gaining power in 2006? You betcha...they would rather we all twist in the wind.... TOTAL incompetence....total.

I have to agree with the Obama nightmare. Unfortunately I voted for him becuse the horrendous choice of McCain Palin as the alternative. I will never, ever again vote in such a way. I will write in a candidate instead of voting for the percieved lesser of 2 weavils.
Obama has single handedly detroyed our childrens futures with the horrendous financial debt we now opwe. Bush started it and Obama has pushed it into overdrive.
Here is a youtube video I made last year just after his inaguration.

I'm glad to see you guys are excited about the Tea Party. Im assuming you like it because it's something new, and it brings conservative views back to the Republican Party. Just remember, the Tea Party is still the Republican Party; in fact, its the Republican Party SuperCharged.

I suggest you do some reading about this cadidate.....things like him wanting to repeal laws that assure fair and affordable housing options for minorities int he state of KY, and the fact that he believes companies should be able to withhold services to the public based on race alone. Or maybe you would be interested to hear that Rand Paul is upset with Mr. Obama for criticizing BP and trying to figure out which companies and government organizations allowed this horrific disaster to take place. I'm no Obama fan, but BP needs to be held accountable for destroying wilderness areas currently and for years to come. Rand Paul thinks the spill is "just an accident" and sometimes in business "these things happen" and that we can't hold a "witchhunt" everytime something like this happens.

I dont know about you, but I think we should have a witch hunt to find the answer to our questions about this oil spill, and that we should follow these same steps EVERY TIME a multi-national, trillion dollar company has an "accident" like this. Hold em accountable, it's much more American than the Tea Party
