so i'm running the complete fox farm nutrient cycle i use more fertilizer than their schedule calls for. The question is can i keep raising nutrient levels until nute burn? or can the plants only absorb so much? and ya adjust pH accordingly

thoughts...

Recipes are meant to be tinkered with because plants and setups are not created equally.. (How many watts/sqft are you using??) But as UB always says, less is often more.. Don't feed your plants just because it doesn't seem to kill them, either keep levels where they are, or even lower them for safety until the plants shows the onset signs of need, and you have ruled out the possibility of pH trouble, or lockout, because adding more fertilizer when they are the cause can make things much worse..
In general its better to under do things than over do them.. Plants with actual deficiency onset will blast into action the moment they receive food.. Plants that are over-fed have alot more work to do to get back to growing vigorously.. And its not even the leaf burns that are the real problem.. Its the root burns, and improper salt proportions that really reduce potential..
Lastly, plants will appear to thrive like mofos when they are overfed, but that will change quickly and drastically when reality catches up..

interestingi forgot about the salts and thats a good point about roots, i guess if its not broke than why fix it, i just know some strains prefer heavy feedings and some don't, mines bag seed so no idea what it is
