Rainbows and Ponies

It's for the kiddies... I don't like clowns either, but I only did an ofF-site job once- facepainting and wearing a ladyclown costume... It was the most EXPENSIVE ASS FANCY resort I've ever seen, we went to. TT $60 for a champagne glass of orange juice, WTF?!

The rest of time was spent weeding, hoeing, carrying hay bales, watching then dry-grooming 25 grey ponies and 5 thoroughbreds, leading (45 minutes lessons in 90+ heat), tacking up, cleaning tack, making wet feeds, mucking out, oiling leather tack, administering medication, herding horses and riding in whatever breaks I got because there is no allotted lunchbreak or anything.

Sounds fun in a weird, slave labor way. :) I did construction most of my working life until now. The work never sounds fun but it is always interesting when you find yourself missing it.

I don't miss it one bit. I do have a garden though, so I get my daily dose of sunshine.

I can see how sitting indoors all day would make one want to haul wood and swing sledge hammers all day though. :)

The art forum doesn't get much traffic so I'll put my horse doodles here. These are all 10 minutes experimentations with my new iPad

Forget about all you're cute little horsies and ponies right now, and learn about the Pale Horse. Because it's here.
