rain on the colas

so i was just wondering when there is allot of rain that comes down on the buds do you think that it will promote mold? if so how do you avoid your outdoor buds from becomming moldy when theres lots of rain close to harvest? just by being lucky i guess?

I wouldnt let rain fall on the buds when its raining it could lead to bud rot try to put them under a canopy or something to block the rain

as long as its dry and sunny they should dry out

most outdoor growers i know have hair dryers hung near their plants to turn on right after it rains.

Bad idea if you live in an area with high humidity or frequent rain.

I'm dealing with mold now. Not much I can do about it, no way I can cover up 5 plants in the woods when the tallest one is 10 ft tall. I just keep an eye out for it and unfortunately have to cut off growth prematurely.

that sucks ......

I like the natural method, unless you cut soaking wet bud and put it in your closet, you should be fine leaving it for a couple days to dry out before you put it up to dry.

anyone who cuts down soaking wet bud and just sticks them in the dark somewhere is a foo

i think he was pulling everyones chain. leave them o'naturale. they will dry in a few days sunshine. you must check your buds carefully when harvesting. dont wont to smoke any. but you can use it for canna butter and hash/HBO.

its funny, penicillin is basically mold, but everyone is afraid of it. i wonder if pot was moldy, but was distilled of all impurities if it would be a better medicine. food for thought, moldy food, but nonetheless, food for thought!!!
