Rain gutter NFT

Been threatening to grow something hydro for a long time. After reading up on NFT I put this together on the ceiling beams out in the greenhouse. Pretty simple. 10 ft section of plastic gutter with endcaps. Pond pump in a bucket pumps nute up to one end and runs out the other thru a 2" pipe back into the bucket. 1/2 " cpvc stop valve adjusts flow. Planted it two days ago and they look fine. Been raining the whole time so the sun hasnt been out. The plants were growing in 4'" deep pots and were well established. Needless to say lost a lot of root hairs. If they survive the sun tomorrow think they`ll be ok. There will be 4 tomato 2 squash and 6 cukecumber. Dont think that is too crowded. Debating on whether or not to spend the time convert my special garden to some kind of hydro setup now or later.
Hope someone finds this interesting.

Damn thot I rotated this one

im new to the hydro scene too, and started an NFT setup as well as the OP and doc. personally, i think it is rather easy to maintain and it produces excellent results.
