from 4 foot by 4 foot to say 8 foot by 4 foot by adding a 6 foot rail for my light to move on at all times

They work great. 4x8 will work good. I wouldnt go as long as mine. I am trying to add 2 more lights and another mover for my rail.

They work great. 4x8 will work good.

so you think a 400 w hps/mh on a 6' rail would work in a 4x8 whithout hurting yeild as opposed to adding 1 extra light to each room

also need to take electric$ into considration

thinking of double a room size and just wanted some ideas on ways to be efficaint

thanks for all ideas and will be cheaking out fourm found a lot of useful info here

A light mover not only increases your growing space, but also allows the light to be closer and mimics the motion if the sun thereby giving your plants more light penetration. The trick is spacing your plants so that they don't touch. I know it sounds like less yield, but the plants will grow bigger, bushier and healthier faster.
