raided, arrested, released without seeing judge...

hi guys,
has anyone heard of such a situation? a warrant was issued n executed on my house. an ounce and a grow room were found, along with miscellaneous pills. on the warrant was marijuana, scales, ledgers and firearms. i didnt roll on anyone. i went to jail for 36 hours then was released. never saw a judge. i was told at the jail the charges were dropped. i talked to the officer a few days ago and he said it wasnt over. i have never heard of anything like this. i am yet to be charged with something, but i dont think im out of the woods. Besides laying low and not getting back into the hobby, what are your thoughts and suggestions?

We have no clue man, we don't even know what state you live in. Guaranteed you will still get plenty of answers though. Everyone becomes a lawyer when someone gets busted

texas. and ya, im boogyin outta town at the end of the month. the police told the realestate people so i gave a vacate notice before they would evict or anything. Ive talked with one, she said just check the warrant search every few days as they could be building a case. i dunno, ive never heard of anyone being jailed, charged, uncharged, released, then charged again. the initial charge was possession 2000+ or some outrageous number.

Jail house lawyers

Ha reminds me of the nickname for the free lawyers, public defenders, aka public pretenders. Pretending to be a lawyer was always about as much use as you'd get out of one of those guys when they're working for free. Now that I think about it the lawyer I paid as much as a car for didn't really do a whole lot for me either....

Oh and I've got a suggestion now! Buy a lottery ticket dude cause you're the luckiest mother on Earth! Unless that cop has now made it his personal goal to bring you down, if that's the case you should move to a new city. Dealing with a cop with a vendetta is a sweet way to live a horrible life

I got popped with half a pound of green in high school and the police report said it was meth and that I was selling it. They set my bond at $144,000 til my lawyer got them straightened out. I've never even seen meth!

if the charges were dropped then you're in the clear for now.

don't call the cop that arrested you or non of that shit. keep your mouth shut and move on with your life...

they'll come looking for you if they can make the charges stick.....

consider your self lucky.

the first attorney made it seem like it was all over n done. hence why i called to get info as to why they came, but i think i got it figured out on my own(as to who talked). But i know that they were not doing me a favor by not prosecuting or whatever, so im sure someone fucked up along the way. Now to go to my truck n find the lotto ticket i bought 2 days ago(drawing last night)...:)

How many people have been prosecuted for an ounce in your area?
Years ago I went in front of a judge for a few grams and he told the arresting officer "not to waste his time" (in open court) and set me free right away with no record whatsoever.
