R Burns' Multistrain

This grow is already a couple months old, so I will be bringing it up to speed pretty quickly!
I started 12 seeds total. 11 regs and 1 fem. Need 6 to advance to the flowering cab. I got 4 GSC X Ghash from XO Seeds, 4 Lazy Lightning from Bodhi Seeds, 3 Dr. Who from Homegrown Natural Wonders, and 1 Rocklock(f) from DNA. All 12 came up. They have been started in standard 5" pots, in a 3:1 mix of Foxfarm Ocean Forest and perlite. They will be vegged under 6 T12s at 4100k. 18/6 light schedule!
Question, comments, criticisms, compliments, all encouraged!
Like I said, these have just been flipped to flower, so look out for updates over the next wk, that'll get us to that point. Thanks for checking it out!

Right around 24 days here. These will be getting a haircut to begin structuring. They will be topped 2x in a sorta modified mainlining. I will end up with 4 mainlined colas and also leave the 2 branches on the node below, for a total of 6 colas per plant. Before and after!!

Do you defoliate @R Burns ? Popped into my head looking at your Lazy Lightning 1. Early on I suppose training is enough, just bend the leaf some more.

I am mainlining World of Seeds STAR 47, "indica-dominant hybrids" that spread out nicely with the training and I have not taking a single leaf and don't feel I need to. Then I have this Jack Herer and it has gotten really bushy despite the mainline and training. I haven't taken any leafs from Jack either.

Your ladies are looking good.

Thanks! I do defoliate if I do true mainlining. But I like to leave em when I leave other branches. But I always defoliate some right before the flip and then a bit more in wk 2/3 of flower. In my experience, if you take too many, the plants just force more bud leaf to compensate. Not interested in that at all.
Coincidently, I have grown quite a few star 47s from WOS. It was nice. Couple were real potent. I also like their Afghan Kush Special. Several phenos smell just like beef stew. And again, pretty potent! I mainlined a Jack Herer last summer, as part of a tutorial, for a growers club, here in MA! I did a true mainline and defoliated too. It got real leafy, especially near the bottom. Lots of trimming. If I did it all over. I would have opened it up with some lst! Here it is below!20181014_205334-1-1-1.jpg

Great job, the plants all look great. The rock lock seems a bit pissy, not sure why when everything else looks fantastic.

Thanks for checkin them out! That Rocklock is a week behind. Just put it on the same schedule as the others. It doesn't love it. Also the only fem seed. They can be pissy! It'll get it together!

Ok! So I thru these all into flower. All were showing sex within 10 days. Kinda bummed that all the Lazy Lightning turned out to be males. But shit happens. I do have 3 GSC x Ghash, 3 Dr. Who and the 1 Rocklock fem. Here are the ladies! They will all be transplanted in the next few days. And then be ready to fulfil their destiny!IMG_20190127_232214_20190127_232413801-1.jpg IMG_20190131_064141_20190131_081405856-1.jpg IMG_20190131_065119_20190131_081912564-1.jpg IMG_20190131_062943_20190131_080811224-1.jpg IMG_20190131_205107_20190131_212136326-1.jpg IMG_20190131_205049_20190131_212454070-1.jpg IMG_20190131_204837_20190131_212217410-1.jpg

So I am all caught up now. From here forward, info/pics will be current!
We are in the beginning of the 3rd wk of 12/12. All plants have just been transplanted for the last time. They are starting to really push the pistils. Everybody healthy and ready. They receive the first feeding of flower today! My flower nutes are Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro. Also hit em with a bit of Cal/Mag, at this time.
