Qwet washing time

Hi, yesterday I made a qwet extraction leaving 30 seconds them them shaking 30 seconds, the result was a green/brown piece who turned clear after sticking, almost full melt, but not as good as I expected, how long do you guys usually soak with ethanol?I have 96% now but will find 99,9 next ext, the 96 worked really well, only trouble was it ended up really hard, but smoke was delicious and it melted almost completely

Never heard of this method. What are the benefits of extracting with ethanol?

Ethanol is rated in proof

Isopropyl alcohol is rated in %

Iso will pull all kinds of undesirables (lipids, waxes, etc). Where ethanol will also, but not a much. That's why most use etoh fir cannabis extractions.

And x2 on the 90sec wash. Dont shake too violently, and freeze the ethanol for a few days along with your material to keep lipids and waxes to a minimum. We normally use dry ice to get temps super cold
