quick ventilation question +rep

hey guys i just built a 4ftx2ftx3ft box and painted it white and sealed it with silicone made a nice door on it and insulated that too.. my question is instead of making holes in the box for an intake and exaust fan would i be able to place a circulating fan in the box to keep the air moving inside and then use the homemade co2 tutorial to provide c02 to the plants within the box...?
im going to be lighting the box up with about 10 or 12 100w cfls

the box is placed on the rafter of the garage.. temps in the summer get to about 100 here so i would expect it to get no more than 100 up there keepin in mind the garage is cool because of the cement floor

an ideas??? questions comments???

no your still circulating stagnet air around. you want freash air

Right, and you will also need an oxygen generator since the plants need O2. A lot easier to ventilate the box.
100F is too hot, that plus heat from the lights will kill your plants quick.:-(

bro you gotta have fresh air coming in even with co2. pipe frsh air into the bottom of the box and exhaust hot air through the top. your lights will get way to hot and you will fry your plants if you don't have good ventilation, your buildin a grow room not a speaker box. i have one 50 cfm pushing air in and 2-50 cfm fans for exhaust, I use cfl's and even those will spike my temp sometimes. without the fans my crop would fry like bacon. sniff sniff i fuk'n hate bacon.

you'll need to vent fresh air in from a window or something and will definitely need an exhaust fan for the 10-12 cfls!!

Plants need CO2 during the day but at night they release CO2 and uptake O2. If you just keep adding CO2 24/7 they won't grow properly, if at all.

is 12 100w cfls overkill? should i use less for that sized box and could i jut cut 2 holes one for exaust and one for intake. have a stanley blower mod placed in the exaust and have the intake covered with an air condition filter to keep dust out then place a circulating fan inside the box?

like i said in the copy of this thread in another forum(posting the same exact thing in different forums is considered bad etiquette by some and is against the forum rules btw.), by 100w your not talking about actual watts, your looking at the incandesent equivelent, right? :peace:
