then play it safe and let them age a month, I put them in the fridge too to simulate a winter chill for them. This topic has come up before and the average response is a month wait.

I took a seed from a plant I pollinated. I let it dry for 2 days before I decided I wanted to grow another plant. It germinated fine. I have it growing now. It's just about a month old now doing great. I think as long as the seeds are mature they can be germinated at any time. Like I said. I waited 2 days from taking it from the plant before germinating and it went well for me.

I KNEW I'd get a bunch lurkers jump in right after and say they sprouted seeds right off the plant, happens every time this discussion comes up.
Will you guys replace his seeds if they don't germinate ? ? ? No I didn't think so. " Easy to be generous when your spending another man's money."

OR maybe theyre speaking from experience. I dont know dick about breeding yet, BUT i just figure it this way - If a female plant thinks its in danger of dyying, it pollenates itself. Once the plant dies, it drops its seeds into the dirt, producing more female plants. Wouldnt the seeds still be fresh and a little wet at that point too?

Im not sayin go for it n plant away, but i am sayin that imho i dont see why the seeds wouldnt grow reguardless if theyre wet or not. were not trying to smoke them, lol, so what does drying do to an already fully matured, viable seed, other than make the thing crispy?? You shoulda made a couple more seeds, so you could have experimented with somethin cool like this. Breeding is awesome man, mad props to you for making your own seeds. hope you get yourself a fuckin DANKY phenotype from your seeds bro. when you plant them, pick the nicest one ,and pollenate her with a danky plant. then pick the nicest one out of that batch when you plant them, and cross it with another danky plant. sooner or later you will have turned a bagseed plant, straight up into a fuckin diggity dank plant that can contend with at least half the shit people grow in here, lol.

i havent gotten into breeding yet man, but it sounds like a SHITLOAD of fun, and im gonna be dabbling really soon. My goal is to get one of two strains stabalized over time -- Either Blue Chiesel (Blue Cheese x Diesel), or Red Tweezey(Twilight x Red Diesel) - some original shit, lol. No trademark or nothin though, so if anyone wants to try n do that cross for me, just kick me down some seeds once its stabalized :D If not, then ill take a year or two crossing n backcrossing over n over again to stabalize that shit ;)

sorry about the tangent, lol, this is just a subject ive been reading alot about lately, and im fuckin super excited to move out into my new house n get started on my dungeon :D

So we are not allowed to tell what our experience was with trying it? Damn didn't know that. Most people get mad when people just guess for an answer. I guess telling what you actually did is wrong now. wow

LOL, most of these dudes just got some hermie seeds and chucked them in the dirt to see what would happen. I'm speaking from experience both personal & with other breeders.
A gross over reaction.

No use telling frmrboi what you did del66666. He's right we're wrong. He hangs out with breeders and our experiences don't mean anything because he is a big bad breeder I guess. We just use hermi seeds and throw them into the dirt.
