Ok so i have had my lavender girl outside with no cover until it started raining. Then I moved her to where she was completeley dry but she still got a few sprinkles on her. I shook out all the branches as best as I could but Im wondering if that little bit of water on her this close to harvest will hurt her? also when I covered her she wasn't getting as much sunlight and im going to bring her back out into the sun today. will that hurt her? Thanks for all the feedback guys.

um, no risk. Shake it. THC also can block water from getting deep in the bud cracks.
When drying, for extra protection take the bud compleatley off the stem.

Last year I was noob, I let rain all in my bud, some got mold and I cut them off and put in trash. No big deal what so ever.
But during the curing process, thats where the action went down. Lost about half a pound (Not that much)

I always de-node my nuggs completely off the stem when wet and rack dry and its never mold now.

A rack is as cheap as you need it to be, Get a screen from an old window and nail it too a square made of 2x4's

cut big donkey dick colas down into small nugs and dry on your new free/cheap dry rack.

and too answer your main question yes any amount of moister on your buds can / will cause mold.

It may not show up for a few days but given enough moister mold will happen.

Some Strains are a bit more mold resistant than others, keep that in mind also.
