I googled my question but couldnt find anything. Can i plug a y splitter into another y splitter? I dont wanna buy an extra lamp if i can just buy a couple splitters instead. Would it be safe? I only wanna do it for extra lighting so they're only 23 watt cfls.

The splitter should state the actual load handling. Should be something like 100w. 4 23w cfl's will be fine.

This was an old pic back on October 4th my girls were sleeping but I'll take one tomorrow to show you guys, there's 7 more bulbs behind that homemade light hood you see there, thats cardboard with mylar plastic ( my meds came in a large mylar plastic so I used that as my reflector ).
If you're looking to get a big yeild, CFLs are not the lights you want, you need the big guns like mh or hps or LEDs.

Honestly with the conditions that this thing came up in and since its my first go, i'd be happy with a half ounce or a quart. Not to mention that i would like the buds to be thick and potent enough. I'm sure just like everything else you get what you pay for, and in my case it was just some cfls.

Thats exactly how i wanna set up mine. I like that lamp socket with the long wire that you can hang to whatever height. Did you pull that out of a lamp or something?

I got it from 2 lamps being thrown out, 1 had a busted light socket but since was a pair they threw out both. I suspected the 1 that wasn't busted worked fine but I just pulled the guts out of it and spliced the cord of the other one onto it.

I don't know if you can make out that my hood is just cardboard box, I spent less than $20 on my light set up, 2 clamp lights and 2 adjusting clips for my "hood". As I said the bulbs were given to me my neighbor had 200 bulbs from his job (maintenance).
