Holy stretching batman! But those are your cotyledon's and its normal for them to die off quickly. You should do something about that stretch tho.

Those are the cotyledon's and are what kick starts your seedling's photosynthesis which allows it to grow it's first set of true leaves. Once that happens, it no longer needs the coty's and they'll yellow, wilt and eventually even fall off. No need to worry, it's completely normal. I'd worry more about that stretch though, as it IS indeed stretching like a motherfucker. You need to get more light or move your light closer. Also, next time you transplant, you can bury it a little deeper to make up for the stretching.

What kind of lighting are you using and how close is it to your plant?

Thanks, I just have them in a window, I found a few seeds in a bag before and planted them to see how far they will go .

Oh I see. Yeah, that's what's making it stretch like that. The plant isn't getting enough light, so it's assigning more of its energy towards growing taller in order to get closer to the light source. You want that energy to be used on more foliage so they grow short and bushy. If they grow tall and lanky, the stalk isn't going to be thick/strong enough to support the weight of buds later on in flowering.

If you want to use the sun as a light source, you need to have your plant outside under direct sun. They're not going to get enough light just sitting in the window. Hope this helps. Good luck and happy growing! :bigjoint:

no need to say anything more, lack of lighting is causing your stretching for sure

but you only have a few days to really fix it, not a few months. best bet would be to cull it and wait until you have everything set up and working first, before you germinate.
