Quick Question - Post Topping

Quick follow up question - This pic shows two arrows pointing down at the leaves that have grown since topping, the arrow pointing up to the middle is pointing to the new growth? These are my two new chutes right?

Now this is my other plant. Topped the same way, at the same time. But as you see there is barely any new growth there. Will this one recover with time and grow the two chutes?

(Sorry I couldn't get a better pic to show this plant, the new growth is that small !! lol)

You are correct on pic 1. Pic 2 you may have to wait and see if they pop off that top node or if you cut it too short. If you cut too short your next new growth will come from next node down.
