Quick Question Please HELP!

Dose my bud have to be all brown hairs to be full developed? because the plant i have now has brown hairs about 20% and i decided to take a sample and it was about half bowl. i smoked it and got pretty fucking high and i enjoyed it really. would it be bad if i harvested it now? there clones from humbolt county . got only about one and a half ounces .bongsmilie

get a jewlers glass or a hand microscope. Something that you can see the tricomes thru. An ratio between 1/10 to 1/50 will work great. Hairs can be deciving from what I been reading. I'm going to harvest when about 1/4th of the tricomes have become amber. Maybe someone can veryfi this for us. I'm no expert xD

Three of my plants went to budding w/o any apparent sign of any pistils. IS this normal..? The larger one has beginning to bud wityh a lot of visible hairs but no buds fully form yet. I am certain it is a male. Should I haverst the buds now, I am in Denver . Thanks

Rafta If you Have little sacks I belive it's a male. but the buds take time to actually form mine was just like urs and i waited awhile and tsrated seeing actual buds

How was the high? I've got a plant with 90% red pistils, but no amber trichomes yet. The high is speedy, cerebral, to be expected from early weed. Very good strong high, but I know it'll get better (10 weeks flower already). A lot of flavors are produced at the end of the plant's life too. It varies from strain to strain though, if I was you I'd wait.

Xcon The high i got was speedy aswell, energetic, it was pretty strong aswell. mine been floweing for 6 and a half weeks the strain is headbad. i might just wait a week!
