Quick question - can someone help please

Do you need to start a vert grow from start or can i veg plants grown horizontally and then flower them into a vert scrog grow? Reason i ask is because i normally want to be vegging plants in my veg tent while the others are in my flowering tent

This time around I vegged vertically and I was left with short, bushy plants.

I'm running GG4 and she likes to stretch out and take up space, but these GG4 that I'm running have a shape and node spacing that is extremely inconsistent with what they look like when vegged horizontally.

So basically, this time around, I'm vegging under horizontal lights to get nice tall plants then I'm moving them to the vert flower room and dropping the lights down next to them.

My dedicated veg area will be horizontal, my flower space will be vertical.

thanks man, thats what i was hoping to hear im going to give it a crack on my next one i think, will a 600w be enough for a 4x4 room?

Pretty sure it will be. I don't have experience with HPS but I'm pretty sure that's enough light. I think I'll veg under fluoros.

I'm really thinking the goal here to create tall lanky plants then stick em to the wall and put the HIDs next to em and they'll fill out.

That seems to be the trick.

whats the heat like, i currently only have a 4 inch fan and filter, wuth cooltube and my temps are around 84 max at around 17 inchs off the screen i have now, think ill need a bigge fan

Like I said, I don't have experience with HPS but I'm pretty sure if you're moving enough air them you'll be fine.

Its one of those things where you'll have to set it up to see if it works.

I'm trying to plan my next grow area too but I'm gonna end up having to buy a bunch of stuff and set it up and see where my temp and humidity go and take it from there... Nothing else for me to do
