Quick question about roots

Heya,I know if roots get light they turn green then eventually die. Well I have some plants in 3 gallon pots that have roots growing out of the drainage holes in the bottom. Some roots even protrude a bit on the top soil. Is this going to be a problem? Also I just started the flowering stage.

Oh crap ok. Thanks for the feedback! Well they are just sticking out a little bit, just like a tip or three. Also not sure if I have room in the cab for larger pits but thanks I'll see what I can do.

well idk if you have too or not. just going from your discription. fabric pots/airpots or pots with alot of holes in the sides will air prune so they wont rootbound. if its a small plant and there's just a few root tips sticking out it's prob ok. you can look at the sides of the rootball the next time it dries out a little. if the roots are circling then its repot time, otherwise it should be fine. hth

Alright ok that's what I'll do I guess, take a look at the rootball and go from there. Much obliged for your help :)
