Quick question about air pump requirements

I'm using a hydroton planter setup where I have a pot filled with hydroton and about 1 gallon of water per pot.

I have 2 pots set up like this with an air curtain on the bottom of each pot. Both pots are being supplied with air by a SINGLE 3000 cc air pump run through a splitter. I have a second 2000 cc air pump that's not being used. Should I be using one pump per pot? or does the single 3000 cc pump work for both pots?

the one pump should be sufficient as its fairly strong, as long as the air bubbles in the buckets are breaking the surface of the water so its not stagnant you will be fine. good luck man.
