my babies are about 3 weeks old now, so i think it's time to start adding some nutes... am i correct in this assumption?

Which nutrients do I need to make sure to get? I plan on just going to a local nursery or lowes today to get them.

does anyone know if lowes carries any plant nutrients?

I use Miracle grow plant food plus which is 10-15-10. Some people will suggest something thats higher in N and P and i think that if you look at the different varieties of plant foods you'll find something thats like 26-18-4. i forget, i was high.

Also, its beneficial to stay away from time release stuff. i would definitly stick to water soluble stuff

i went with the scotts 10 10 10 nutrients, going for the easy "its just a plant, let it grow" approach..... working well so far

if your talkin about 3 weeks after seed breaks ground, i would wait another week or two. that being said, i start nuting when plants are big and mature enough to handle it. it is very possible your plants may be ready. if you are a new grower i would sugest you wait atleast 1 more week. better safe than sorry imop

I suggest waiting, at the earliest, a week before flowering. If you used a good medium/soil then it should retain it's nutrients till around your second week of flowering. 3 weeks old is definitely jumping the gun with nutes, the "it's just a plant, let it grow" approach would be better suited to doing just that and not trying to boost it w/ extra nutes.

nute burn isn't pretty :/

this stuff has a rating of 24-8-16! great for vegging, for flowering I use Schultz liquid plant food plus at 10-15-10, this is my first major grow, so i don't have results, but when I am finished with harvest I'll post with results I am also using gorilla co2 setup; sugar and yeast, and am giving my babies molasses every third watering (am into 11th day of flowering)
