I have 10 White widow fems 10 Bubblelicous fems and 10 Hawaiin Maui Wowie fems they just sprouted this morning and everythings going well 10/10 of every seed from NIRVANA germmed and sprouted and im hoping their femmed seeds are 100% femmed but my question is basically my grow box is 5'x5'x6' tall and has 4 26watt daylight CFL's on each side 8 up top and 4 on the back of the box. I was wondering is it ok if my plants go outside for some fresh air and sun light for 12 hours and then come inside the box for the other 6? they will all be going outside when they are big enough to transplant the season is almost perfect here where i live and my fathers a seasonal grower hell i got hte maui wowie for him he swears by it that its the best hes ever smoked and hes pretty excited . Basically he says its better if they get some "SUNLIGHT" that way when they are transplanted they are use to it and it causes no stress on them

your dad is right, i think, but dont put them out for 12 hours the first day, start with 2 then increase by 2 every day for a week, and temporarily reduce the sunlight exposure if they show any signs of trauma...basically, you need to harden them to sunlight...but, ya, sunlight is good for your plants, indoor lighting really can't compare, especially cfls.

if your going to do that you should be very careful about heat stress. Sporuts are very weak & they can easily burn up. I wood say let them get at least 3-4 nodes.

There is also the possibility of shock , there is a huge difference in the cfl's and real sunlight.

so opening a window and placing them near allowing them some direct sunlight for a couple hours would be better than just placing them outdoors for longer periods?

Wouldnt move them around to much, and disturb them. Just open a window every morning or so, and let some fresh air in,thats what I do and works great LoL. I would agree, just do your show outdoors. Good luck man
