quick mh bulb question

Are most 400w bulbs the same?

I have a 400w apollo mh/hps kit with cool tube and just got it with the hps only. I can get a sylvania 400w mH from work for very cheap. will that work fine? not really worried about brands and whats best. dont care to spend much. i can get an apollo cheap on amazon but dont feel like waiting if the sylvania will work. My seedlings are getting outgrown of my cfl setup and i wanted to set my tent back up now this weekend.

Yup

Seems the general consensus is MH bulbs are all basically the same, HPS is where bulb quality seems to make a huge difference. Just casual observation from reading all the "best bulb" threads.
